This non-profit club promotes all styles of rollerskating, with educational clinics, workshops, weekly and special events. The free workshops cover everything from safety to technique. Among the group's most popular skating events are those that begin at the White House (The). The routes for the Sunday Morning Social Skate vary weekly but the distance averages 8 to 10 miles. Newcomers are advised to have basic skating skills. The Friday Night Social Skate is more leisurely and winds around downtown monuments. Participants gather for food and drink afterward.
