This museum highlights the glorious achievements, courage and sacrifice of the nation's soldiers and sailors. It is the largest museum in the country showcasing great deeds of the men and women in uniform. It hosts receptions and conferences on patriotic themes, and also has regular events, such as the annual POW-MIA vigil of Vietnam Veterans, and Memorial Day celebrations. The Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hall also offers field trips to historical sites of the civil war, scout leadership workshops, and educational programs, wherein their speakers visit a school and give lectures on any war involving the US.
