More information on Children's Museum of Memphis
Located adjacent to the Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium, the children's museum recently underwent a major expansion. The new galleries include "Going Places," "Growing Healthy," "Art Smart," and "WaterWORKS!," in addition to a parent resource center and improved gift shop. In addition, old standbys at the museum are a real fire engine for them to climb on and a kid-size city where your children can act like little grown-ups: They can go shopping for groceries, stop by the bank to cash a check, or climb up through a 22-foot-tall skyscraper. Special traveling exhibitions, such as a recent one featuring a kid-sized, fairytale castle, are also well worth a visit. Call to find out what special programs are being offered during your stay.
