Housed in a renovated two-storey brick and glass warehouse, 2K9 is one DC's self-proclaimed multi-ethnic clubs. Proper party attire is always required - no jeans. Step onto the 3,000-square-foot dance floor and experience a blizzard of lights, sounds and special effects. Ladies in black can often bypass the cover charge at this Euro-style nightspot, which features weekly shows hosted by local radio celebrities. Occasionally, local and national acts perform. VIP memberships and valet parking are available. Admission is $10.
