The Open Stage Theatre lives up to its name by providing a stage for local talent to debut original works. Since it began in 1992, the theatre has hosted 33 productions by top local talent. More than half of the productions have been original works. The Open Stage Theatre uses the stage at the City Theatre on the South Side.
