More information on Santo Stefano alla Lizza
The Neoclassical Santo Stefano alla Lizza was first built in the 12th Century in Romanesque style. The reason for the change was due to hugely invasive restoration at the end of the 17th Century that was far more like rebuilding. Nonetheless, it still has a certain appeal, like the polyptych by Andrea Vanni in the entrance.
