The Tomb is located inside St John's Cathedral, on the right side from the entrance. Made from red marble, heavily damaged during World War II, it represents the last two Maziovian dukes sleeping in a brotherly embrace. After their death Mazovia was incorporated into the Polish crown territories, a change which raised a lot of protests and suspicions that the dukes might have been poisoned. Their death was indeed mysterious, since both of them were in the twenties and in good health. view all details
