The voice of Benny Moré is still one of the best ways for foreigners to get a taste of Cuban culture and music. An inspiration to singers the world over, he has also helped draw attention to and promote the recordings of other local performers. It is no big surprise, therefore, that not only does this festival boast some of the best Cuban singers, but also international stars such as Jordano Di Marzo, Lucecita Bentez, Moncho and Danny Rivera. The event is held in various venues every September.
