More information on Skansen Christmas Market
The Skansen Christmas Market is an annual open-air holiday market in a massive outdoor museum. It is a long-standing Swedish tradition and one of the biggest and most impressive in the country. What started in 1903 as a modest fair has blossomed into a cornucopia of traditional Swedish crafts and decorations, toys, food, music and winter treats like the famous Swedish favorite, glogg - a hot and savory mulled wine. The trees are decorated and carol singing occurs daily. Transport yourself to an old-fashioned European holiday market. This year the market will be held on 19th and 20th December 2009.
