More information on National Civil Rights Museum
Get an intimate view into history at this museum where Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s restored hotel room and the balcony on which he was assassinated in 1968. Interactive multimedia exhibits provide education about the civil rights movement from the roots of the 1600s, through Rosa Parks, and leading up until modern times. The latest exhibit, “Exploring the Legacy,” was opened with the museum’s recent expansion and includes a look into human rights movements all over the world.
