More information on Basement
The Basement is, you guessed it, a live music club in a basement. However, it happens to be the basement beneath a church, between the Stadtgarten and the Ring. Despite slightly muddy sound, the atmosphere is good. During its heyday in the early eighties, groups such as Joy Division and Eurythmics performed on the small stage. Unfortunately, concerts are only very rarely held here these days.
