More information on Museo Arqueológico

It contains thousands of pre-historic artifacts and remains from the ancient civilizations based in Italy, Greece, Cyprus and Egypt. One of the highlights is the museum's reproduction of the Altamira caves in northern Spain, with their fascinating pre-historic cave paintings (open 11a-midday & 5:30p-6:30p). There's a research library as well as video and slide-show facilities.
