More information on Basilica dell'Osservanza
This basilica is truly great, both in the literal and metaphorical senses of the word. It is located on the hill of Capriola, just outside the walls and has undergone a series of continuous renovations, since its birth, in the first half of the 15th Century, not for the sake of art but out of necessity, such as after it was bombed from the air. The works of Andrea della Robbia and the tomb of Francesco di Giorgio Martini are found here.
