Renowned for rugged mountain ranges, rare native Australian wildlife and beautiful flora and fauna displays, the Grampians National Park is one of the State's most popular destinations for a long holiday or even day trip from Melbourne. The 167,000 hectare park was only declared in 1984, and is home to almost one third of Victoria's unique plant species.
