More information on Poble Espanyol
Built in 1929 as part of International Exhibition, Poble Espanyol is an one of its kind open air museum. Poble Espanyol is an entire village, created using architectural styles from all over Spain. Originally, it was supposed to have been torn down after 6 months, but it has survived much longer than that. Although no one lives in this village, it is populated during the day with artisans showing how to make handicrafts along with shopkeepers and people working in the restaurants. A variety of tapestries, ceramics, jewellery, can be purchased or learn about the art of glass blowing and hand embroidery. There are also discotheques to help you experience a different side of Spain. Check website for exact opening times.
