More information on Exploratorium

The Exploratorium museum of science, art and human perception is a favorite with all ages. Curiosity inducing exhibits encourage hands on interaction. Visit the Tactile Dome to experience the dark, visit the new "Listen: Making Sense of Sound" exhibit to hear sound in a whole new way, and experience "Virtual Unreality, Interactive Artworks on the Virtual Frontier." The Exploratorium is located near the Palace of Fine Arts building in the Marina District.

Price

Admission $12 adults; $9.50 seniors, youth 13-17, visitors with disabilities, and college students with ID; $8 children 4-12; free for children under 4. Free to all 1st Wed of each month
