More information on Göteborg Music Festival
The Gothenburg Music Festival is mostly for marching bands and parade orchestras, but even big bands are welcome. When summer has just begun in Gothenburg, the parks are at their most beautiful and the people at their happiest, youth orchestras from many different countries gather in the city to compete in tattoos and of course to play. You probably stand the best chance of seeing a show along Avenyn, at Götaplatsen or at Kungsportsplatsen.
