More information on Cannery Beaches

These two beaches are the least used in the area, except by local families. They love it because they can keep a watchful eye on their children who can swim while mother and father fish from the pier above. The beaches, Playa Escondida and Playa Balconcito, are also known as the Cannery Beaches, because each one flanks a pier belonging to an old abandoned tuna cannery. The beaches are easy to access by walking along the west bank of the marina and are hard to miss.

Land's End: assorted rock formations at the end, including the Arch. Lovers beach. Behind those rocks starts the Pacific Ocean. Catch of the day. Turned out te be a pretty poisenous fish... what we learned just after the dive... Mexican dive instructors! Land's End: the Arch.
