This place is not easy to find, but once you're here, there's no regrets. Windy Oaks is a dreamy French landscape on the Santa Cruz Mountain appelation in Corralitos, where Jim and Judy Schultze grow grapes for their wines - Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Acres of vines, redwood trees, picnics, oak trees, and barrels of the elixir are what visitors will experience before heading to the tasting room. The wine is unracked to preserve its flavor, which is probably why it's the best Pinot, this side of Santa Cruz.
