More information on St. Louis Cathedral

Standing majestically in the French Quarter next to Jackson Square, its three steeples peaking high in the sky, is North America's oldest cathedral. Since 1727, people from all walks of life have worshipped within its walls. The cathedral is the seat of the Archdiocese of New Orleans, and one of the city's most-visited historical sites. Beautiful French architecture, picturesque courtyards, and its proximity to other great historical sites like the Cabildo and the Presbytere make St. Louis Cathedral a fantastic attraction. Guided tours are offered daily.
