More information on Chan See Shu Yuen

This is yet another of Kuala Lumpur's historical places of worship. Built in 1906, Chan See Shu Yuan is one of the oldest surviving Buddhist temples in Malaysia. Terracotta friezes depict scenes from Chinese history and mythology, and its ancient Chinese architecture features a roof of Kwang-Tung style pottery. Devotees flock to the temple during Buddhist festivals.
