More information on United States National Arboretum
Though it is over 400 acres in size and was established nearly a century ago, the National Arboretum remains an “off the beaten path” attraction. The gardens include collections of trees, flowers and fountains from across the nation as well as Japan, China and Korea. Admission is free, though 40-minute tram tours are available as well.
