This is a small town diner among the towering skyscrapers of downtown Minneapolis. The high-back vinyl booths and the U-shaped Formica counter look like they were taken right out of a Norman Rockwell painting. Get there early or expect to wait for a seat.The homemade menu includes full meals for breakfast and lunch. Lunch features daily specials, fresh soups, hot and cold sandwiches, burgers and salads. Leave room for the great shakes and desserts, including pie of the day.
