More information on Puppentheater Lapislazuli
The Puppentheater Lapislazuli was founded in 1978. Since 1988 it has been located, unusually but rather nicely, in the middle of a schoolyard in Bensberg. There are two pavilions, one of which is used as a classroom and hosts the theater, which is named after the beautiful, blue type of stone. It's quite small, with space for 50 to 80 viewers. There are performances for children, but also for adults, who can enjoy Tolstoy (Das Hemd eines Glücklichen) and St. Exupery (Le Petit Prince). The children's program changes regularly. Ticket reservations are from 9a-noon. Prices for the afternoon performance are EUR 3.50; for children EUR 4.50, and adults (evening performance) EUR 10.
