Situated in a cellar near Nyugati (Western) Railway Station, Jet Station is an excellent bar with more than a hint of English pub atmosphere about it. The decor is reminiscent of a pub, with wood furnishings and lots of brass fittings. Despite being underground - down a steep staircase - it is surprisingly not claustrophobic and a good watering hole to remember if you are ever in the Nyugati district. There is a lot of aviation memorabilia lying around and you can even examine a flight deck on a computer attached to one wall. Pop music is played a little too loudly for the elderly clientele. Exotic cocktails are available at the bar as well as a range of beers, wines and spirits. The menu consists of all the usual meats, soups and salads and is ideal for business lunches or a quick bite to eat before heading off to catch a train from Nyugati.
