More information on Oysterhaven Centre (The)
If you like to live life to the limit, the Oysterhaven Centre, established in 1981 by Kate and Oliver Hart, is the place for you. With instructors recognised by the Irish Sailing Association and the Royal Yachting Association, and a safe sheltered harbor, this is the perfect place for the fledgling sailor. Courses on offer include sailing, windsurfing, power boating and dinghies. If you are already proficient in the craft of sailing, there is the opportunity to do an internationally recognised Instructor Training Course. Dinghies, windsurfers, canoes and kayaks are available to rent on an hourly basis. There are also other amazing opportunities for adventure on offer. Such as the Spirit of Oysterhaven, a 70ft steel schooner available for adventure cruising, sail training, passage making and family or corporate charter.
