Unusual describes the Gator, the vehicle-vessel on which you will be touring. It's actually a bus that travels right into the water and becomes a boat. Frightening at first, but a great experience. Your tour guide will tell you all about the animals, fish, birds, flowers and plants of the area. He'll also relate the ghost and pirate legends and facts and the history of the area. The tours last about two hours and start at the Wild Water Waterpark in Surfside Beach. Cost is $30.
