Visiting this museum is immediately rewarding simply because of its location amidst 11 acres of nature trails, creekside paths, and beautiful trees. Inside the museum, you'll have the chance to visit 11 great exhibit halls dedicated to regional natural history. You may learn about birds, insects, mammals, marine life, and more. The life-size Blue Whale skeleton is sure to thrill, and there's also a great planetarium and museum store that are well worth a visit. The museum is known for housing the largest collection of ancient Chumash Indian artifacts next to the Smithsonian.
