Martin Kodl, the owner of this pair of galleries, is one of the city's few qualified evaluators of modern and antique Czech art. His firm is an attempt to establish a Czech version of Sotheby's in the country. With regular auctions organized monthly, most recently a retrospective of the work of Czech Cubist Emille Fiala, the company is certainly beginning to fulfill this role. The galleries display works to be auctioned as well as work with set prices. Though the pieces are quite small, they are pleasantly laid out and well-lit.
