This Pyramid could easily be ignored for it resembles a pile of dirt and rubble. Although the exterior is rather shambolic, the interior is rather elaborate. It contains the earliest known examples of Pyramid Texts in a pharaonic tomb. The Pyramid Texts are a collection of written rituals and hymns of the Ancient Egyptian religion, intended to guide the soul into the afterlife.
