More information on Wilton Carpet Factory
This factory has been manufacturing Wilton and Axminster carpets for over 300 years. You can take a fascinating tour and see how carpets are still being made by traditional methods. There are regular power loom demonstrations and in the new Wilton Town Museum in the courtyard, you can learn about the 1000 year history of the town. The factory is next to Wilton Shopping Village and is just a short distance from Wilton House.
