Description
Kitt Peak National Observatory is home to the largest collection of optical telescopes in the world, located on the Tohono O’odham Reservation. An ideal place for stargazing at 6,875 feet above sea level, guided tours are available daily, but be sure to bring a jacket, as the temperature can be 15-20 degrees colder than the desert floor, especially at night.
