This southern suburbs complex is open throughout the year, but be warned, as the pools are not heated. The Olympic-size pool has made Newlands one of the most popular swimming gala venues in South Africa. In addition to this, the complex has a diving pool and a baby pool. The lawns are often used for children's parties, and schools benefit from concessions granted to school groups during school hours.
