At the Laird Family Estate, wine-making goes a long way back. What started as a small piece of land in 1970, is now a small family run vineyard in the heart of Napa Valley. Keith Laird is the main person behind the origin and growth of Laird Family Estate—which produces some of the best wines not only in California but also in Arizona, Florida and Colorado. The red varietals include the 2000 Daimond Mountain Ranch Cabernet Sauvignon, 2001 Napa Valley Merlot and 2001 Suscol Ranch Merlot. From the white wines 2001 Cold Creek Ranch Chardonnay and 2002 Carneros Chardonnay are very popular. Also available are a few wine accessories. Individual wine-tasting tours can be arranged, but with prior appointment only.
