With 11 floors, an endless book spiral, colorful walls, escalators and comfortable places to relax, the Seattle Public Library is like no other. Encompassing 362,987 square feet and made of glass and steel, the library was designed by Rem Koolhaas, an acclaimed Ducth Architect. Located in downtown Seattle, this award winning library drew 2 million visitors when it opened in 2004 and continues to be popular with tourists and locals.
