Lerum is situated 20km north of Gothenburg. It is a small town with many activities to choose from. Here, you will find Nääs manor, walking areas, two golf resorts, adventure swimming baths and other cultural activities. The adventure bath, Vattenpalatset, is one of Västergötland's best and a visit is recommended. If you enjoy golf, then visit one of the two clubs, Stora Lundby or Öijared. The latter is one of Europe's largest. There are plenty of walking areas with nice bathing lakes and nature reserves. Säveån's nature reserve is located between Floda and Stenkullen. The cultural life in Lerum consists of theatre, jazz concerts at Dergårdsteatern, art exhibitions and country days at the community centre cottages. Local trains go from Gothenburg's Central Station to Lerum.
