More information on Grauman's Chinese Theatre

This pagoda theatre is a major landmark full of Hollywood lore and history. It opened in 1927 with Cecil B. Demille's The King of Kings, and has been part of the heart of the Hollywood community ever since. In the cement of the theatre's forecourt are over 200 handprints, footprints, and autographs from Hollywood celebrities, such as Steve McQueen, Bob Hope, and Groucho Marx. The premiere venue for The Wizard of Oz, this theatre is a California treasure.
