The Jakarta International Film screens award-winning films and cinematic masterpieces from all over the world, at specially selected cinemas in Jakarta. Film buffs will also find seminars and discussions, which provide an outlet for them to discuss the films and talk about cinematography in general. The festival shows films over a period of approximately two weeks. Although it is best to order tickets in advance through phone, a limited number of tickets are usually available two hours prior to screening. Film showings take place at various venues.
