More information on The Honolulu Zoo
The Honolulu Zoo is the main zoo in Hawaii and the only one to be established from grants by a sovereign monarch. The zoo features over 1,200 animals in its 42-acre area, which includes a 10-acre African Savannah exhibit where the animals roam free. There are also night walks available for those who want to see the nocturnal wildlife. Over 750,000 people visit the zoo annually.

Parking
The Zoo parking lot entrance is on Kapahulu Ave. and charges 25¢ per hour. The Shell parking lot across the street on Monsarrat Ave. has free parking.
