First opened for pedestrians and vehicles in 1883, the Brooklyn Bridge is one of the first suspension bridges in the world, and is a famous symbol of New York. Build in the Gothic style of architecture, the bridge is an attraction in itself and was once used by elevated trains, horses and street cars. Bike or walk across the bridge for great views of New York's famous skyline.
