Although roller-skating has declined in popularity since its 1970s heyday, this rink continues to draw a steady stream of roller-skaters and roller-bladers on most evenings. Modern pop favorites play over the sound system as beginners and advanced skaters alike roll around the large rink. Beginners are urged to stay in the center of the rink, Skateland draws a young and vibrant crowd of teens. Novices might choose to take lessons at the rink to build their skills. Call or check website for weekly schedule and admission fees.
