More information on Windsor Station
Once one of Canada's most important train stations, this magnificent 1889 structure is now used strictly for local commuter trains. Windsor Station was once scheduled for demolition, but thanks to its heritage designation it now stands as a beautiful example of Romanesque Revival architecture and architect Bruce Price's crowning achievement. Located in one of the more recently revitalized areas of the city, the station now serves as an entrance to the Center Bell and is also connected to the IBM Canada Building to the east and is the headquarters for the Canadian Pacific Railway.
