Webster's New World Dctionary defines "honky tonk" as slang for a cheap, noisy nightclub. The Live Bait is a truly defining rendition of this phrase. It is not much to look at but the crowd knows how to have a good time. Crowds from all walks of life enjoy a wide range of music including Zydeco, R&B and jazz. There is also dinner every night, with biker's night on Tuesdays, and Thursdays for the ladies. You can also enjoy a weekday 99 cent lunch menu, such as Spaghetti on Thursdays. It is open daily 11.30 am onwards.
