Phang Nga Bay straddles the three main districts of Krabi province, and is one of the busiest day-trips out of Phuket. There are two popular spots here; with its signature rocky pinnacle, James Bond Island is spectacular an was so named because it was used in the film “The Man With The Golden Gun.” Koh Panyi, Sea Gypsy Island is also popular. Home to a remarkable Muslim village, the whole of it is built over the water on stilts; it is well worth a visit for lunch and souvenir shopping.
