Built in the 1920s by the founder of the Piggly Wiggly grocery stores, Clarence Sanders, this Georgian marble home has since become a museum and complex that hosts the Sharpe Planetarium and an IMAX theater. Visitors to the Pink Palace can learn about a range of topics having to do with Memphis history as well as the world at large. Exhibits cover topics like the early European exploration, the Civil War, and the medical research carried out in modern day Memphis.

Price

Museum $8 adults, $7.50 seniors, $5.50 children 3-12, free for children under 3; and for everyone Thurs 5-8pm. IMAX $7.25 adults, $6.75 seniors, $5.75 children 3-12. Combination tickets available
