A slightly shabby pub with an art deco decor, the Variety reflects the true character of Glasgow. Trendy yet unpretentious, this is a bar that everyone will feel comfortable in. There are less drinks promotions here than in Sauchiehall Street's other options, but nonetheless it is always busy with a remarkably diverse clientele and prices are reasonable. Thankfully, the kitchen doesn't have ideas above its station and they stick to what they do best - tasty toasties.
