More information on Jay Etkin Gallery

This small hotel is a good choice for the budget-conscious business traveler, not only because it's a respected address in Tokyo but also thanks to its reasonable prices and great location, in the midst of Akasaka, Shinjuku, Aoyama, and Roppongi. The unpretentious lobby has a comfortable European atmosphere -- you don't have to be embarrassed about meeting business clients here -- with a smart restaurant off to one side specializing in organic dishes. Guest rooms, which are mostly singles, are tiny but cheerful, though you'll take your life in your own hands trying to shave in the dark bathrooms. Ask for a unit on a high floor facing the front, and since not all rooms have dataports, be sure to reserve one in advance if it matters. Facilities: 3 restaurants; same-day laundry/dry-cleaning service, nonsmoking rooms Note: This information was accurate when it was published, but can change without notice. Please be sure to confirm all rates and details directly with the companies in question before planning your trip.
