More information on Atelier Theater
This small theatre on Roonstrasse offers a variety of theatre, cabaret, satire and Kleinkunst, usually with musical accompaniment and often from a markedly feminist perspective. The program changes regularly, every few days. The 99 seat theatre presents comedy, chanson, travesty and gay/lesbian-oriented productions and caters for a wide audience. The Atelier also hosts the yearly Front-Frauen Festival, featuring international performers and is supported financially by a variety of patrons, many well known from television and the media. The Atelier café is a nice place for a drink before the performance.
