The San Antonio Symphony, through its seasonal orchestral performances aims to educate and entertain the people of San Antonio. It performs regularly at the elegant Majestic Theatre. Performances include classical songs and dances to the tune of grand orchestras, and conducted by renowned directors and musicians. Classical POPS is another feature of the symphony, wherein favorite piano classics are performed, and some of them, determined by the audience. Sacred and country musical classics are also performed, where maestros join the symphony to create a harmonious mélange of melodies. Acrobatic teams come together here as well. Chief among these is the Cirque Symphonique, with its lithe gymnasts. Visit their website for dates, timings and ticket information and prepare yourself for an enjoyable, musical evening.
