A favourite among students, several nights in the week are packed at Port, when the booze is flowing and the compere has an ever-ready flow of recruits for the amateur strip-show at his disposal. Judging from the behaviour of some of the participants in this, Russia's future does not seem to lie in the hands of self-effacing prudes. Friday and Saturday nights also attract the punters of course but there is rather less camaraderie among the crowd then and you might well have to go the extra mile to break the ice with a stranger.
